Creative Design

The design includes: An iconic logo, symbolizing both the diversity of disciplines and the unity of sport. A vibrant color palette, evoking the vitality and diversity of athletes and fans. Bold typography, capturing the energy and precision of competition. A flexible graphic universe, designed for seamless integration across various digital and physical media: displays, textiles, signage, and social media.

The project draws inspiration from the concepts of freedom, excellence, and energy, elements that lie at the heart of the spirit of athletics. The goal was to design a dynamic, modern, and adaptable identity that reflects passion and movement while remaining inclusive for the European public. This project reflects a strong ambition: to redefine the image of European athletics and give it an identity that will inspire future generations.

References

References

The references were chosen based on the idea of dynamism, speed, and momentum, which are essential elements in athletics and high-level sports. The selected images feature strong graphic compositions and vivid colors.

Visual references include iconic logos such as those from the 1968 Olympic Games and modern concepts such as sprint design, both of which illustrate movement and performance.

Illustrations of tracks and geometric typography reinforce this idea of rhythm and precision, which are essential in the world of sports. The choice of visuals of runners in action highlights human effort and energy, while the logo proposals emphasize the dynamic visual identity specific to athletics.

Monogram

Monogram

The monogram incorporates the letter “E” subtly concealed within the “A,” creating a silhouette that evokes both a track and fluid motion. The italicized characters accentuate the dynamism and symbolize speed and momentum, like a runner in full stride.
